Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is the leading national provider of traffic safety products and services, serving customers in 48 states through 60+ branches. We seek a Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones, ensuring safety for workers and the public.

The role involves setting up signs, cones, and barricades, using hand signals and paddles, and working outdoors in varying weather. Candidates must travel statewide as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Pass background check incl. motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• ATSSA Flagger training" course is required.
• Defensive Driver training required.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and safety.
• Communicate effectively with crew and contractors.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Willingness to travel statewide, occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
• Direct traffic with stop/slow paddles and signaling devices.
• Maintain clear communication with team via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, outdoors in various weather.
• Transport equipment between job sites using company vehicles.
