Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a reliable Traffic Control Flagger to direct traffic around construction sites and work zones. You will set up and remove traffic control devices, use hand signals and signs, and communicate with motorists and crew to ensure safety.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather and the ability to stand for extended periods. Responsibilities include operating radios, transporting equipment, performing basic vehicle checks, and traveling statewide with

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass background checks.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and meet DOT requirements.
• Wear safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest at all times.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic flow around work zones using hand signals, signs and devices.
• Set up and take down traffic control equipment (signs, cones, barricades).
• Communicate with motorists and team using radios to maintain safety.
• Stand/walk for long periods outdoors in varying weather.
• Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and perform vehicle checks.
• Travel statewide with occasional overnight stays, including nights and weekends.
