RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. is seeking a General Laborer in Buda, TX to direct traffic around construction zones and assist with setting up and removing traffic control devices. The role emphasizes safety, outdoor work, and teamwork.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, stand for long periods, and operate traffic control devices while coordinating with crew members. Training and opportunities for growth are available, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must pass background check including motor vehicle records.
• Must pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear proper safety equipment (boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest).
• Operate 2-way radio.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
• Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams while delivering high customer service.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Complete ATSSA Flagger training and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training.
• Willingness to travel statewide, with overnight stays, and ability to work nights/weekends as required.
• Available for rotating on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up signs, cones, and traffic control devices around work areas.
• Effectively manage traffic flow with stop/slow paddles.
• Maintain clear communication with team via two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours a day.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and move items over 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions near traffic and machinery.
• Exposure to noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
• Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
