Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones, including warning signs, traffic cones, and rumble strips, according to ATSSA and DOT regulations.
- Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company vehicle.
- Drive the company vehicle to and from job sites safely.
- Complete all paperwork promptly.
- Wear and maintain proper PPE as per Wright's policies.
- Read and understand the Wright safety manual and employee handbook.
- Report directly to a Field Supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Have reliable communication to receive work schedules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Pass a drug screening prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift; hand and arm movements are required.
- Position allows limited breaks.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be physically capable of performing flagging duties.
