Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks a Traffic Safety Protector to join our field team. You will set up cones, signs, and barricades and guide traffic with stop/slow paddles while following safety protocols. Expect outdoor work in varying weather and a need to stay alert around moving traffic.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Safety Protector, you will work with a team at job sites to ensure safety and traffic control. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your primary duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety protocols. You will communicate effectively with your crew and supervisor, keep equipment clean and safe, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with some night, weekend, or emergency work expected. You must stand or walk for extended periods and lift 40-50 pounds. A valid driver’s license, ability to work outside, and passing a drug screening are necessary qualifications. You will be equipped with safety gear, including a hard hat, goggles, vest, and walkie-talkie.
