Traffic Control Flagger - Wright

Join us as a Traffic Control Flagger at Wright. We offer on-the-job training, weekly pay, overtime, and raises for time earned. No experience necessary for this entry-level position, starting at $13.50/hour. Safety is our priority at Wright, a family-owned business committed to employee and customer satisfaction for over 40 years.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting up, maintaining, and removing temporary work zones, including warning signs, traffic cones, and rumble strips per ATSSA and DOT regulations.
2. Loading and unloading work zone equipment.
3. Driving company vehicles safely to and from job sites.
4. Completing all required paperwork promptly.
5. Wearing and maintaining proper PPE as per Wright policies.
6. Reading and understanding safety manuals and employee handbook.
7. Reporting to a Field Supervisor and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable communication for scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates.
• Pass a drug screening and maintain a drug-free status.
• Ability to stand for entire shifts, with hand and arm movement.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform flagging duties.
