Job Overview

We are looking for entry-level Traffic Control Flaggers to join our team. This position offers promotion opportunities, on-the-job training, weekly pay, overtime, and raises based on performance. No prior experience is necessary. The starting pay is $13.50/hourly. Wright is a family-owned business committed to its employees and customers for over 40 years, emphasizing safety and professional growth.

Responsibilities

1. Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones, including warning signs, traffic cones, and rumble strips, following ATSSA and DOT regulations.
2. Load and unload work zone equipment.
3. Drive company vehicles safely to and from job sites.
4. Complete all required paperwork promptly.
5. Wear and maintain proper PPE as per Wright policies.
6. Read and understand safety manuals and employee handbook.
7. Report to a Field Supervisor.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
3. Reliable communication to receive schedules.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to work in various weather conditions.
6. Pass a drug screen and maintain a drug-free status.
7. Ability to stand for entire shifts, perform hand and arm movements, and lift up to 50 pounds.
