Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Work with the Traffic Control Department at work sites to direct motorists by flagging them away from worker activities, moving equipment, and oncoming traffic.
2. Set up signs, cones, and other traffic control devices around work areas to divert traffic.
3. Follow all safety rules and regulations, wearing proper safety equipment such as work boots (6-inch with safety toe), hard hats, and safety vests.
4. Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
5. Work generally under the supervision of Project Managers, TCT, TCS, Flagger II, or may be assigned to work independently.
6. This is a non-driver position.
7. Perform all other duties as assigned.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complete daily paperwork accurately and promptly.
2. Operate 2-way radios effectively.
3. Work well in a team environment.
4. Provide the highest level of customer service to all clients.
5. Maintain excellent attendance, dependable transportation, and a strong work ethic.
