Job summary

Busch Gardens Williamsburg, part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, is hiring a Part-Time Traffic Ambassador to help keep guest flow safe and smooth. You will direct traffic, assist guests with vehicle issues, and uphold safety and park standards while delivering friendly guest service.

This role requires 16+ years old, clear microphone communication, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and tolerance for diverse weather and loud environments.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking on a microphone.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Be exposed to fumes, dust, and/or odor.
• Be exposed to loud noises.
• Be exposed to motion.
• Be exposed to vibrations.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper procedures while controlling crowds at loading and unloading.
• Direct traffic on roadways to park and exit Busch Gardens property.
• Assist guests with vehicular problems and give directions upon request.
• Follow safety procedures.
• Assist in upholding company standards of maintaining company equipment.
• Operate with guest service in mind at all times.
• Assist with traffic control and parking as necessary.
• Directing cars, buses, campers, etc. to daily assigned lots.
• Setting up cones in various traffic patterns as assigned by supervisor.
• Adapt quickly to changing work conditions to ensure timely guest/traffic flow.
• Report vehicle traffic and guest issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain communication with leadership and other team members about changing traffic flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Lifting and pulling trash bags from parking lots into disposals.
• Answer questions and resolve guest issues.
• Assist in other areas of Guest Arrival as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
