Job summary

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking a Part-Time Traffic Ambassador to help manage guest flow, direct traffic for park loading/unloading, assist guests with vehicle issues, and uphold safety and company standards.

Candidates must be at least 16, able to communicate (including speaking on a microphone), and capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. The role involves varied weather, loud noises, and motion; compensation is 12.77 USD per hour with park perks and scholarships.

What you get to do as a Part-Time Traffic Ambassador:

• Follow proper procedures while controlling crowds at loading and unloading
• Direct traffic on roadways to park and exit Busch Gardens property
• Assist guests with vehicular problems and give directions upon request
• Follow safety procedures
• Assist in upholding company standards of maintaining company equipment
• Operate with guest service in mind at all times
• Assist with traffic control and parking as necessary
• Directing cars, buses, campers, etc. to daily assigned lots
• Setting up cones in various traffic patterns as assigned by supervisor
• Adapt quickly to changing work conditions to ensure timely guest/traffic flow
• Report vehicle traffic and guest issues to leadership as appropriate
• Maintain communication with leadership and other team members about changing traffic flow
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Lifting and pulling trash bags from parking lots into disposals
• Answer questions and resolve guest issues
• Assist in other areas of Guest Arrival as needed
• Other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:

• At least 16 years old
