Job summary

Tradition, a Transforming Age community in Brooklyn Park, MN, is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. The role pays $14.00 per hour and includes benefits for full-time staff. Responsibilities include dishwashing, basic food prep, and maintaining sanitary kitchen areas.

Ideal candidates are at least 16, with a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong English communication, and the ability to work as part of a team. Background checks and possible drug screening may be required per policy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with kitchen organization.
• Good communication skills in the English language (oral and written).
• Ability to occasionally assist with other kitchen duties.
• Completion of a background check.
• May include drug screen, physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state/local guidelines.
• CPR and first aid certification may be required in certain state/local jurisdictions (i.e. CA Title 22)

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record water temperature and sanitizer solution levels.
• Notify management if levels are not correct.
• May occasionally assist in food preparation.
• Observe sanitary guidelines and environmental requirements.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine and related parts.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, surfaces, and areas in kitchen.
• Maintain storage room for cleaning supplies; keep area stocked and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Dishwasher:

• Monitors and records water temperature and sanitizer solution levels
• notifies management if levels are not correct
• May occasionally assist in food preparation
• Understands and observes sanitary guidelines and environmental requirements
• Sets up/breaks down dishwashing machine as necessary, including: arms, screens, traps, and baskets
• cleans inside and outside; checks to see it is operating properly
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing system, garbage cans, and areas in kitchen
• Maintains storage room for cleaning supplies, chemicals; keeps room clean, and items stocked, labeled, and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned
