Complete Care at Bey Lea is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will handle basic food preparation, wash dishes, pots, and pans, and assist with kitchen sanitation in line with health regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean dishwashing areas, supporting the chef, and ensuring efficient use of supplies. Candidates should have dishwasher experience, good communication, and a solid work ethic.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dishwasher.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, collects soiled dishes; washes according to sanitary guidelines.
• Cleans equipment as assigned by chef or cook.
• Assist with basic food preparation under chef guidance.
• Cleans dishwashing areas and storage areas to keep them sanitary.
• Maintains workspaces and equipment in clean condition.
• Loads/unloads dishwasher and stores clean items properly.
• Uses supplies efficiently to prevent waste.
• Communicates with Chef or Cook to meet resident needs.
• Attends in-service education as assigned and applies it to tasks.
• Follows confidentiality and privacy policies and laws.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Receives, collects soiled dishes; washes dishes according to sanitary guidelines and rules;
• Cleans equipment as assigned by chef or cook;
• Help with basic food preparation under direction of chef or cook as directed, in compliance with Safe food handling;
• Maintains dishwashing areas and dishware storage areas in clean condition at all times in accordance with rules and regulations and as directed by chef;
• Cleans workspaces, cooking and serving equipment, trays, and dishes according to department procedures.
• Loads and unloads the dishwasher; stores clean equipment and dishes in designated areas.
• Uses food supplies and equipment in an efficient manner to prevent waste.
• Uses food preparation equipment properly and follows proper cleaning techniques and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Communicates with Chef or Cook throughout the shift as needed to best meet needs of the residents.
• Attends in-service education as assigned and applies information to job tasks.
• Complies with the Community's Confidentiality and Privacy practices and procedures related to resident and employee records and all state/federal privacy laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a dishwasher.
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus
