Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Cash Settlement team within Trading Services, overseeing broker-dealer cash activity, settlements, and control execution.

You will partner with global stakeholders to enhance the control framework, drive technology-enabled improvements, and deliver accurate management reporting while minimizing risk across domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services operations, program management, or client service.
• Experience supporting market-wide payments change initiatives (ISO 20022/SWIFT).
• Experience with trade settlements and lifecycle processing, including issue resolution.
• Ability to identify AI/automation opportunities in operational workflows.
• Experience leading teams with AI-enabled analytics and workflow automation.
• Knowledge of cash processing and market settlement practices.
• Experience operating within a control framework with risk identification and remediation.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience partnering with technology teams on process or platform changes.
• Experience producing management updates to senior stakeholders.
• FINRA Series 99 Operations Professional certification (active or plan to obtain within 120 days).

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate processing of broker-dealer cash activity and resolve exceptions.
• Partner with global stakeholders to maintain a robust control framework.
• Collaborate with technology teams on system integration and workflow design.
• Engage with internal stakeholders, counterparties, and banks to resolve lifecycle issues.
• Identify discrepancies, root causes, and actions to reduce risk and recurrence.
• Oversee KPIs and risk indicators, setting thresholds and targets.
• Lead process improvements to streamline workflows and strengthen controls.
• Prepare management reporting on risk themes and progress against deliverables.
