Job summary

Aptos is seeking a talented Software Engineer to build experimental trading products on the Aptos blockchain. You will design, implement, and experiment with trading systems, APIs, and data pipelines in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

This full-time role is based in our US offices in Palo Alto or New York, with a strong emphasis on shipping reliable code and collaborating with protocol and infrastructure teams, embracing AI tools to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping products.
• Strong experience with Typescript or similar languages.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using AI tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Background in payments, DeFi, or TradFi is a plus.
• Experience with blockchain, Web3 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and experiment with trading products for the Aptos blockchain.
• Develop scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines for trading data access.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for trading.
• Write clean, performant, production-ready code.
• Collaborate with protocol engineers, infrastructure teams, and product engineers.
