Job summary
Aptos Labs is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and experiment with trading products on the Aptos blockchain. You will work on scalable APIs, data pipelines, and trading infrastructure in a fast-paced, autonomous team.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years of shipping products, strong TypeScript skills, and a knack for problem solving. Blockchain/Web3 and payments/DeFi experience are a plus, with opportunities to mentor as the team grows.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building and shipping products
- Strong experience with Typescript or similar languages
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with using AI tools to improve productivity and code quality
- Background in payments, DeFi, or TradFi is a plus
- Experience with blockchain and Web3 is a plus
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and experiment with trading products for the Aptos blockchain
- Develop scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines for trading data access
- Build and maintain infrastructure for trading
- Write clean, performant, well-tested production code
- Collaborate with protocol engineers, infrastructure, and product engineers
