Aptos Labs is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and experiment with trading products on the Aptos blockchain. You will work on scalable APIs, data pipelines, and trading infrastructure in a fast-paced, autonomous team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of shipping products, strong TypeScript skills, and a knack for problem solving. Blockchain/Web3 and payments/DeFi experience are a plus, with opportunities to mentor as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building and shipping products
• Strong experience with Typescript or similar languages
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with using AI tools to improve productivity and code quality
• Background in payments, DeFi, or TradFi is a plus
• Experience with blockchain and Web3 is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and experiment with trading products for the Aptos blockchain
• Develop scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines for trading data access
• Build and maintain infrastructure for trading
• Write clean, performant, well-tested production code
• Collaborate with protocol engineers, infrastructure, and product engineers
