Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a Trading Operations Associate to provide high-quality support for enterprise clients, addressing order entry, execution, and trade surveillance. You will monitor trading activity, collaborate with trading desks, IT and compliance, and ensure regulatory compliance while identifying potential risks.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, collect client feedback, and contribute to service improvements and tool development in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in brokerage operations, trading, or related field.
• Experience with customer support, relationship management, and trading services.
• Familiarity with trading platforms and equities trading; options a plus.
• FINRA series 7 or 63, or local equivalent with willingness to obtain in 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to enterprise clients via phone, email and chat.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to account management, order entry, processing, execution, FIX sessions, and OMS functionality.
• Collaborate with trading desks, IT and compliance to resolve client issues and share market insights.
