Job summary

Alpaca is seeking a Trading Operations Associate to provide high-quality support to enterprise clients, addressing issues from order entry to trade execution and high-touch order handling.

You will collaborate with trading desks, IT, and compliance teams to monitor activity, resolve issues, and ensure regulatory alignment. You will gather client feedback to help refine services and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in brokerage operations, trading, or related field.
• Experience with trading platforms and equities trading; familiarity with FIX protocol.
• FINRA Series 7 or 63 or local equivalent with willingness to obtain in first 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality support to enterprise-level clients via phone, email, chat.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to account management, order entry, processing, execution, FIX sessions, and OMS functionality.
• Assist clients with troubleshooting and technical issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor client trading activity for anomalies and provide timely alerts and guidance.
• Collaborate with trading desks, IT, and compliance teams to address and resolve client issues efficiently.
• Collect client feedback and share insights with product development and management teams.
