Job summary

Argent Capital is seeking a Trading Operations Analyst to join our Operations team in a fast-paced, on-site environment. You will translate Portfolio Manager decisions into client trades, manage model changes, and ensure accurate execution within client-specific constraints.

You’ll work closely with brokers and custodians, handling routine and complex tasks, with opportunities to streamline workflows and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience in financial services or internships.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay calm under pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Comfort working independently and in a small team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn new systems.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily client investment and reallocation requests, including stock gifting, cash raises/investments, and tax‑loss harvesting.
• Implement Portfolio Manager-directed model changes to meet daily deadlines.
• Review portfolio cash levels and conduct quarterly drift reviews.
• Manage the order management system and maintain client, system, security, and market data.
• Maintain client portfolio restrictions and ensure trades reflect instructions.
• Coordinate with brokers and custodians to resolve settlement breaks.
• Collaborate with teammates to improve processes and workflows.
