Job summary

DSG Capital Advisors, LLC is seeking an Investment Trader and Operations Specialist to execute trades and manage operations across client accounts. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of trading and operations, ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient execution across every client relationship.

You will work closely with the investment and advisory teams to maintain data integrity, perform model allocations, and support portfolio rebalancing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field with a high degree of academic success.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in trading and investment operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience executing trades on a live trading platform.
• Experience with portfolio models and investment operations workflows.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Active Series 65 license.

Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders for stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, and other investment securities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Review cash positions, account restrictions, model allocations, and tax sensitivity across accounts.
• Ensure best execution of trades across multiple custodians using trading software and Bloomberg terminal.
• Ensure all trades comply with regulations and firm policies and procedures.
• Monitor market activity, economic trends, and market volatility to benefit client portfolios.
• Support portfolio rebalancing and strategy implementation.
• Review and reconcile trade activity to ensure accuracy and timely settlement.
• Maintain accurate trading records and documentation.
• Research and resolve trade discrepancies, corrections, and operational issues promptly.
• Monitor and update client account positions, weightings, and risk models in Excel.
