Job summary

Point72's Technology team is seeking a senior network leader to own the latency-sensitive trading network across collocated sites and WANs. You will design, implement, and operate ultra-low-latency fabrics, manage BGP/IP routing, and drive automation with AI support to ensure production readiness and peak performance.

You'll mentor engineers, set standards, and coordinate vendor relationships while communicating architectural decisions to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building production trading network infrastructure in colocation environments.
• Deep expertise in BGP and IP routing for WAN/extranet environments with latency-sensitive trading connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with layer 1 mux/tap, optical transport, DWDM, and cross-connect management.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, either as a manager or senior technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead a specialized global network team owning the critical path between trading strategies and markets.
• Own the architectural roadmap for collocated trading environment and WAN connectivity.
• Design and operate ultra-low-latency network fabrics including topology, transport, and capacity planning.
• Manage inter-site circuits to ensure route latency, stability, resilience, and performance.
• Lead latency and quality monitoring, telemetry, and safe change execution with automation and AI support.
• Develop engineers, set operational standards, and communicate architectural decisions to senior stakeholders.
