Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. is hiring an Operations Associate for the Beckett team in Southwest Portland, OR. You will handle order receiving, imaging, encapsulation, research & ID, and quality control in a growing office environment.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you’ll work Monday–Friday with early start times. Experience as a collector is not required, but passion for trading cards helps. This is an exciting entry into a fast-paced collectibles operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience using Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Match, count, and verify items; enter order details into the database.
• Work with Customer Service and Problem Orders to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and deals.
• Research cards using manufacturer checklists and enter data into the database.
• Encapsulate and seal cards.
• Inspect assembled parts and products for defects and deviations.
• Verify submission form details, quantity, stickers, and labels.
• Verify order accuracy and completeness.
• Take high-resolution photos of each card in an order as completed.
• Package orders and attach labels; process shipping.
• Safely handle valuable merchandise and ensure secure handling.
