Job summary

Gamers Guild AZ is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Card Department Associate to join our Tempe area stores. You will handle transactions, buy cards from customers, organize inventory, and fulfill orders while supporting the department manager in hitting sales goals.

You will work across three locations (Tempe, North Phoenix, Headquarter), with a focus on accurate stock, customer service, and efficient fulfillment processes.

Qualifications

• Must support Gamers Guild AZ Code of Conduct and values.
• Capable of lifting 20-30 lbs for up to 30 minutes per shift.
• Knowledge of MTG and other collectible card games.
• Ability to identify fake cards using guidelines.
• Able to sit/stand repeatedly during shifts.
• Familiar with inventory management software.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong work ethic and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently handling transactions at the register with accuracy and service.
• List trading cards for sale and organize inventory alphabetically.
• Perform regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels.
• Carry out shift duties per operating procedures.
• Adapt to new standardized processes as introduced.
• Buy trading cards from customers following store policies.
• Update inventory records in real-time for order processing.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely deliveries.
• Provide order status updates and tracking information.
• Handle returns and exchanges per policy.
