Pro-Play Games in Miami, FL is seeking a Sales Buyer to manage customer-to-business acquisitions of trading cards and collectibles. You will guide customers through intake, oversee evaluation, prepare offers, and document transactions with a focus on service, organization, and market awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and onboard selling customers.
• Explain the buying process and set expectations.
• Ensure all required forms and customer information are completed.
• Maintain professional communication throughout the transaction.
• Conduct an initial review of the collection.
• Organize and label collections for efficient processing.
• Maintain secure chain of custody.
• Track every active acquisition and its current stage.
• Coordinate handoffs to Data Auditors.
• Follow up on stalled evaluations.
• Manage multiple acquisitions simultaneously.
• Review completed evaluations for accuracy.
• Verify card identity, version, quantity, condition, and pricing.
• Identify missing, duplicated, or incorrect entries.
• Conduct additional research on higher‑value items.
• Prepare offers within approved ranges.
• Consider liquidity, demand, inventory needs, and market conditions.
• Present offers confidently.
• Handle objections professionally.
• Re‑evaluate items when appropriate.
• Know when to escape, hold firm, or decline acquisitions.
• Maintain clean documentation and tracking sheets.
• Record customer info, notes, offers, and transaction status.
• Ensure digital and physical records match.
• Process payouts correctly (cash, store credit, etc.).
• Provide required receipts and documentation.
• Close out acquisitions in all systems.
• Escalate high-value, suspicious, unusual, or complex transactions.
• Follow counterfeit and conflict-of-interest procedures.
