You will evaluate sports cards, Pokémon, Disney, Marvel, and MTG, make competitive offers with proper margins, and work closely with the retail team to organize and price inventory for resale.

Qualifications

• Experience purchasing trading cards or collectibles.
• Strong knowledge of the trading card industry.
• Knowledge of card values, market pricing, and condition standards.
• Experience evaluating and purchasing cards from customers.
• Knowledge of Sports Cards, Pokémon, Disney, Marvel, and MTG.
• Ability to identify cards, sets, parallels, variations, inserts and other collectibles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to make quick, informed purchasing decisions in a retail environment.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a retail team.
• Comfort with high-value merchandise and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Purchase single cards and collections directly from customers in-store.
• Evaluate cards across Sports Cards, Pokémon, Disney, Marvel, and MTG.
• Assess card condition, rarity, demand, and current market value.
• Research and monitor current market pricing, trends, and product demand.
• Make purchase offers that are competitive while maintaining margins.
• Explain purchase offers clearly and professionally to customers.
• Build positive relationships with customers and create a professional buying experience.
• Identify desirable cards, collections, and inventory opportunities.
• Stay up to date on new releases, market trends, major sets, players, characters, and collectible products.
• Assist with organizing, pricing, and preparing purchased inventory for resale.
• Work closely with the retail team to ensure inventory is processed efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy when evaluating and purchasing cards.
