Point72 is seeking an It Operations Engineer for Trading Application Support in New York/ CT area. You will support front-office trading applications, ensure stability of Linux/Windows environments, and collaborate with engineers to improve resiliency and release readiness.

Qualifications

Five+ years of application support within financial services.
Experience supporting Linux environments for production apps and user-facing systems.
Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Windows-based production apps.
Ability to diagnose and resolve performance, connectivity, and compatibility issues under time pressure.
Experience supporting front-office trading environments.

Responsibilities

Keep front-office applications stable, responsive, and ready for daily market activity.
Monitor health, perform start/end-of-day checks, address risks before users are affected.
Collaborate with engineering to improve resiliency, supportability, and release readiness.
Automate routine tasks and explore AI-enabled approaches to incidents and efficiency.
Document troubleshooting steps and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
Assist with production incidents from triage to resolution and coordinate across Technology.
