Job summary

A leading staffing and IT solutions provider is seeking a Front Office / Trading Application Support Engineer in New York. You will be the first point of contact for business users and ensure the stability, reliability, and efficiency of trading and risk systems. Candidates should have strong scripting skills in Unix Shell and Python, and experience with SQL. This role offers a 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work structure.

Job Location: New York, NYC (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

This position is for a Front Office / Trading Application Support Engineer within the FX LCT or Emerging Markets team. The person will be the first point of contact for business users, responsible for ensuring stability, reliability, and efficiency of critical trading and risk systems.

Core Technical Skills

• Scripting: Unix Shell, Python
• Database: SQL (intermediate — joins, grouping, stored procedures)
• Job Scheduling: Autosys, Crontab
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Networking, servers, storage, messaging
• Documentation: Confluence, ServiceNow, ITSM tools
• Change Management / Incident Management: ITIL-based

Business / Domain Knowledge

• Financial Products: Derivatives, Bonds, Swaps, Futures, Treasuries, Bills, Inflation‑linked products
