Prestigious Financials Firm in Downers Grove, IL seeks a Junior DevOps Trading Application Support Engineer to maintain production systems and support new trading initiatives.

You will work with developers, traders, and infrastructure teams to automate operations, implement infrastructure-as-code, monitor systems, and resolve complex production issues.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, SRE, or Trade Support.
• Strong administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across infrastructure and applications.
• Comfortable working in high-pressure production environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments.

Candidate will work closely with developers, traders, and infrastructure teams to maintain highly available production systems, improve deployment processes, automate operational tasks, and assist with onboarding new trading initiatives. The ideal candidate is technically curious, comfortable working under pressure, and enjoys solving difficult infrastructure and production issues.
