Corewell Health is seeking a full-time facilities technician to maintain a clean, safe environment across the healthcare system. You will assist in construction and refresh projects under a supervisor, with duties ranging from carpentry to painting and drywall repair.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to blueprints, and timely, cost-effective service while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction. Regular hours are 40 per week, with some evenings and weekends possible.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates and collaborates with supervisors, tradespeople leads, and other construction trades and sub-contractors to ensure quality, timely, cost effective construction with continuity and coordination of services.
• Under the guidance of a tradesperson lead in a specific area of specialty, performs basic preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on various types of general building features. Measures, cuts, and installs multidiscipline related items using hand and power tools.
• Documents procedures and work completed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists in reviewing project blueprints, developing estimates, placing orders and preparing site for construction, installation, replacement and/or repair.
• Ensures proper care, maintenance and safe use of equipment and supplies and keep work areas orderly, clean and safe.

Job Summary

Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment through refreshing different spaces throughout the healthcare system under the direction of a supervisor. Under the guidance of a tradesperson lead in a specific area of specialty, participates in the overall building management program to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction and quality.

Involved with facilities construction for both new build projects and refresh efforts including carpentry, flooring installation, painting, drywall repair, etc. Most work is performed as a team but there may be independent work as well.

The average work week will consist of Monday – Friday, however qualified candidates will have to be open to occasional evenings and weekend work.
