Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a field technician to perform HVAC maintenance and related mechanical tasks on-site. The role involves servicing filters, bearings, belts, cooling equipment, and conduct routine preventive maintenance in a regulated environment.

Candidates should lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and wear PPE as required. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are essential for on-site, union-guided work with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid Vehicle Operators license.
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
• Lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.

• Wear a company uniform and maintain a neat appearance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Change and service filters, oil & grease bearings and perform belt adjustment and replacement services.
• Cooling tower and condenser maintenance – coils, evaporators and tubes
• Clean and perform routine maintenance as required
• Perform indoor air quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
• General housekeeping tasks that are required by the customer to operate mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Compensation Range: $25 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results.
