Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a full-time Onsite HVAC technician in San Leandro, CA. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, filter changes, lubrication, and equipment checks across cooling towers, condensers, and duct systems.

You’ll perform routine upkeep, assist with indoor air quality tasks, and maintain safe, clean work environments in collaboration with the customer team. The job requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Valid Vehicle Operators license.
• Ability to stand, sit or squat for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, move and carry material up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at extended heights.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). i.e. dust mask, gloves, eye protection and hearing protection.
• Ability to wear a company uniform and maintain a neat personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Change and service filters, oil & grease bearings and perform belt adjustment and replacement services.
• Cooling tower and condenser maintenance – coils, evaporators and tubes.
• Clean and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Perform indoor air quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
• General housekeeping tasks that are required by the customer to operate mechanical equipment.

Compensation Range: $25 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results.
