Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Trademark Paralegal Assistant to support a leading Trademark, Copyright, Internet & Advertising team. You will assist with clearance and prosecution of U.S.

and foreign trademark and copyright matters, maintaining records and assisting with documentation for attorney review. Ideal candidates have basic Word/Excel skills and can manage multiple assignments while communicating effectively under pressure in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to manage multiple assignments, work and communicate effectively under pressure.
Exposure to trademark and copyright prosecution or TTAB is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Update and maintain electronic records.
Draft reporting correspondence under supervision.
Develop knowledge of USPTO rules and procedures as they relate to trademark prosecution.
Assist with the preparation of U.S. trademark prosecution documents for attorney review and comment.
Participate in training in U.S. and international trademark and copyright issues.
Maintain accurate and timely daily time entries in accordance with the firm's time-entry protocols, policies, and best practices.
Communicate proactively with attorneys, clients, and team members regarding assignments, deadlines, and status updates.
