You will maintain records, draft reporting letters, learn USPTO rules, assist with document preparation, and contribute to a professional, confidential firm culture with opportunities for bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting trademark/prosecution tasks.
• Knowledge of USPTO rules helpful.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain electronic records.
• Draft reporting correspondence under supervision.
• Develop knowledge of USPTO rules and procedures as they relate to trademark prosecution.
• Assist with the preparation of U.S. trademark prosecution documents for attorney review and comment.
• Participate in training in U.S. and international trademark and copyright issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely daily time entries in accordance with the firm’s time-entry protocols, policies, and best practices.
• Communicate proactive with attorneys, clients, and team members regarding assignments, deadlines, and status updates.
