Job summary

Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm with more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal to join its Charlotte, NC office. This role involves organizing, preparing, filing, docketing and maintaining U.S.

and foreign trademark matters and supporting IP due diligence and filings. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
• Experience with domestic or foreign trademark work is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Abides by the ethical requirements as set forth by the Rules of Professional Conduct.
• Preparing documents related to domestic and foreign trademark and service mark filings, including routine correspondence to the USPTO, foreign agents, clients, etc.
• Ordering, conducting and reviewing use and registrability searches.
• Proactively monitoring attorney dockets to assist attorneys in managing timelines.
• Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Regular and in-person attendance is required to perform the essential functions of this interactive position.
