Dinsmore & Shohl LLP seeks a Trademark Paralegal to support attorneys in the Intellectual Property Department. The role includes communicating with foreign associates, managing trademark searches, filings, and enforcement actions.

The position requires attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with IP docketing and TEAS/TTAB tools. A paralegal certificate or relevant experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Must have a college degree, paralegal certificate, or relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of trademark experience preferred.
• Domestic and foreign filing knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Correspond with foreign associates regarding searches, filings, maintenance, and enforcement of trademarks.
• Search trademark registrations in USPTO and foreign offices.
• Prepare, file, and monitor trademark applications; draft office action responses.
• Draft oppositions to applications for conflicting marks; draft affidavits of use and file with USPTO.
• Review and organize files; monitor docket deadlines and filings.
• Assist with copyright filings and trademark-related agreements.
