Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal program or equivalent experience with IP familiarity.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong analytical abilities and prioritization.
• Ability to problem-solve independently and manage a large volume of tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage detailed tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in drafting correspondence to clients regarding U.S. and international trademark prosecution events.
• Coordinate with clients regarding routine or procedural trademark prosecution events under attorney guidance.
• Maintain and review U.S. and international trademark portfolios, including docketing and deadlines.
• Draft trademark documents for U.S. trademark prosecution for attorney review.
• Use online databases to check application status and download documents (U.S. and international).
• Apply knowledge of trademark procedures and terminology to paralegal tasks.
• Communicate attorney instructions to local counsel on international matters and manage local counsel invoices.
• Assist with trademark search and clearance processes.
• Assist with trademark due diligence projects.
• Prepare copyright documents for attorney review and file with the U.S. Copyright Office.
• Assist with clearinghouse and domain name activities.
• Conduct country law research and present findings for attorney action.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
