A financial services firm is seeking a Trade Operations Engineer to manage their trading production environment and support Portfolio Managers and Traders. This junior-mid level position requires experience in finance, with responsibilities including monitoring complex systems, building dashboards, and automation using Python. Responsibilities

• Operate in a Linux based trading environment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex trading systems.
• Build and monitor Grafana dashboards.
• Assist in scripting and automation in Python.
• Collaborate closely with PMs and Traders to ensure system reliability.
• Act as a primary contact with exchanges and brokers.
• Use Bash and SSH for server access and operational tasks.

Skills

Trade Operations Engineer

One of our clients in the HFT space is looking for a Trade Operations Engineer to manage their trading production environment and support Portfolio Managers and Traders across a variety of asset classes. This is a junior-mid level / associate position and is an excellent opportunity for someone with either a few years working in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds or Prop Trading that is looking to move into a fully remote setup.

What you'll do

• Operate in a Linux based trading environment, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining complex trading systems built on Linux
• Build and monitor Grafana dashboards
• Assist in scripting and automation in Python
• Collaborate closely with PMs and Traders to ensure system reliability
• Act as a primary contact with exchanges and brokers, managing operational requests and communication
• Use Bash and SSH for server access and operational tasks

Who you are

• Experience in Trade ops, Monitoring, or support roles within trading / finance
