Job summary

Cloverdale Foods Company is seeking a Trade Spend Analyst in Mandan, ND to analyze and reconcile customer promotional programs, manage data, and provide insights to support decision-making.

The role requires advanced Excel, strong analytics, detail orientation, and ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Accounting, and customers to ensure accurate trade spend activity.

Office-based with flexible work arrangements; travel <5%; compensation includes base pay within $60,320–$70,720 annually plus benefits and merit increases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/analytics or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in trade spend analysis or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, food, or consumer goods industries preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to organize, reconcile, and summarize data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Trade Spend data to track trends, ROI, and spend performance.
• Reconcile records of customer programs, deductions, rebates, and promotions.
• Investigate discrepancies across systems and data sources.
• Develop forecasts and budgets for trade spend initiatives.
• Improve reporting and automate repetitive processes where possible.
• Communicate findings clearly to customers and internal teams.
