Job summary

Derse is seeking an Estimator to support the Rental Division in Las Vegas. You will prepare quotes and budgetary guidelines, collaborating with the creative team to estimate labor, materials, and subcontracted costs for tradeshow, marketing environments, and events.

The role requires reading sketches/blueprints and advanced MS Office skills; prior live event or trade show experience is preferred. Join a stable, global exhibit builder with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read & accurately interpret sketches and blueprints.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team and perform ballpark estimates to aid creative with concept development budgets.
• Use established estimating templates, corporate operations yearly set rates and mark-up and Master Service Agreement (MSA) client specific set rates and mark-ups as communicated.
• Daily review online estimate schedule / calendar, meet established estimate due dates, update estimate schedule / calendar.
• Participate in put – to – detail meetings.
• Maintain estimating records per Derse policy and procedures including but not limited to standardized physical files and all digital documentation placed in the appropriate client folders on the network.
• Use preferred vendor program.
• Prepares Quote proposals based on; Labor, material, and subcontracted costs.
• Prepare Budgetary Guideline proposals based on; Labor, material, subcontracted costs, as well as published Exhibitor Service Manual information.
