The Maryland Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission (ATCC) is seeking a Supervisor of the Trade Practices Unit to lead inspections of licensed alcohol and tobacco locations and oversee pre-license investigations.

You will coordinate with investigators, prepare reports, support licensing platforms, train license holders, and liaise with state agencies and officials to explain Maryland laws and regulations.

Qualifikationen

• Six years of administrative staff or professional work.
• Supervisory experience leading a team of two or more subordinates.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, or compliance monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Plans, organizes, and directs the operation of the Trade Practices Unit.
• Supervises three Trade Practices Investigators.
• Coordinates with investigators to maximize inspection routes and assignments.
• Reviews and approves inspection reports and coordinates with Division leadership on potential violations.
• Conducts compliance inspections or investigations of licensed alcohol and tobacco entities and pre-license investigations.
• Educates license holders and staff on Maryland laws and regulations.
