Spindrift, headquartered in Newton, MA, seeks a Staff Accountant to manage trade deductions in a fast-paced CPG environment. You will research and resolve deductions, work with Sales and Customer Service to ensure accurate deductions, and support monthly close.

The role requires 2+ years in accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel. The team values attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Logistics, and FP&A.

Formación

• 2+ years in accounting/finance; trade deductions or AR exposure preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Cash application, credit memos, and GL reconciliation experience.
• Detail-oriented with high-volume item management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional work with Sales, Logistics, CS.
• Intermediate Excel skills: Pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data filtering/sorting.

Responsabilidades

• Process and reconcile trade deductions; create credit memos with audit trails.
• Collaborate with Sales, FP&A, Supply Chain to validate deductions.
• Prepare deduction aging schedules; accrue and reconcile deductions monthly.
• Generate deduction reports by customer/category/type; support management reviews.
• Develop SOPs and streamline deduction intake and resolution processes.
