Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a data-forward professional to join the US Sales team for KitchenAid Small Appliances. You will bridge traditional retail sales with AI-driven commerce, unlocking commercial data from major portals and turning it into actionable strategies.

You will analyze data across Walmart, Amazon and Target, identify opportunities, optimize trade spend ROI, and support revenue growth with clear, data-driven storytelling for sales managers and buyers.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Trade Analytics, Category Management, or Commercial BI in the CPG, Food & Beverage or Consumer Goods sector.
• Hands-on experience extracting and analyzing data from major retail portals (e.g., Walmart Retail Link/Luminate, Amazon Vendor Central, Target Partners Online)
• Portal Proficiency: navigating and pulling actionable data from major retail portals (Walmart, Amazon, Target) and syndicated data (NIQ/Circana).
• Technical Skills: Advanced capability in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau) to blend external retail data with internal data sources.
• Aptitude & Tool Utilization: experience utilizing modern AI tools, automated data orchestration platforms, or LLMs to accelerate data cleaning, automate reporting pipelines, or generate market insights.

Responsibilities

• Data mining and insights from retail portals.
• Leakage, whitespace identification, and out-of-stock trend analysis.
• Trade spend optimization: ROI analysis for profitable growth.
• Strategic storytelling and buyer influence with portal insights and inventory data.
• AI integration: standardize data and automate reporting pipelines.
