Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart is seeking a customer-focused driver with a Class A license to serve the Allensville, KY area. You will collect sharps/medical waste containers from healthcare locations and provide excellent service daily.

This is a direct hire, full-time role with a set hourly rate of $28.00, typically 40–50 hours per week (1st shift: 5AM to 3PM). Benefits, sick leave, and vacation from day one are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A license with clean driving record and DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating straight trucks/tractor trailers up to 53ft.
• Proven longevity in past employment and strong customer focus.

Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class A license and experience driving large trucks to utilize your experience across the Allensville, KY area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily.

• Operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft in a safe manner
• Safely collect, deliver and store our medical waste containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and clearly communicating changes
• Loading and unloading and organizing your truck per schedule needs
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Pushing/pulling a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 200lbs!!
• Class A license with a clean driving record and VALID DOT MEDICAL CARD
• Minimum 3 years experience operating straight truck/tractor trailer up to 53ft
• Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Proven longevity in past employment
• TOUCH FREIGHT EXPERIENCE!!!
