Qualifications

• 18 years of age with 1–2 years of experience in semi-tractor maintenance or training or military equivalent.
• A/C Certification and experience in DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes.
• Basic tools provided by employee; toolbox purchase program available in many locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance, service, and repair of tractors and related equipment to manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot issues, complete work orders, and adhere to standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
• Assist onboarding and mentoring of Tractor Technician trainees.
• Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers.
