Qualifications

• 18 years of age with 1–2 years of experience in semi-tractor maintenance and repair or related training.
• Certification in A/C and DOT/FHWA inspections plus air brakes is preferred.
• Own basic tools or participate in toolbox purchase program.
• Ability to work outdoors and across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance and repairs on tractors per specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues and complete fleet maintenance processes.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clear communication with JB Hunt staff and customers.
• Mentor new Tractor Technician trainees and participate in OE training.
• Complete work orders and adhere to standard repair times and warranty guidelines.
