Job summary

Central Transport is seeking skilled mechanics to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, trailers, and related equipment across the United States and Canada. The role involves preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs to keep our fleet in top condition.

We offer industry leading pay, company paid training modules, medical/dental benefits, PTO, bereavement and jury duty leave, and uniforms. ASE certification is preferred but not required, with 1 year of experience as a baseline.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in vehicle maintenance or related field.
• Basic set of tools required for the role.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services.
• Repair trucks, trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.
