Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our fleet of tractors, trailers, and forklifts in top condition. This on-site role requires the ability to troubleshoot electrical and after-treatment systems and perform preventive maintenance across a large LTL fleet.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience and a basic set of tools; ASE certification is preferred but not required. The company offers industry leading pay, paid training, and uniforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services such as troubleshooting and repairing electrical and after-treatment systems on our Class 8 tractors.
• Repair trucks, and trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials.
