Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 18 years of age with 1-2 years of semi-tractor maintenance/repair or equivalent experience.
• A/C Certification and at least 1 year of DOT/FHWA inspections and air brakes experience.
• Own tools required or available through toolbox purchase program.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate maintenance, service and repair on tractors per JB Hunt specs.
• Troubleshoot issues, complete fleet maintenance processes and meet standard repair times.
• Mentor new tractor technician trainees and participate in OE repair training.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain professional communication with JB Hunt and customers.
• Create and update work orders, ensuring compliance with warranty guidelines.
