Job summary

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is seeking a hands-on Lead, Event - Track Services to oversee daily operations, staffing, and event readiness of the facility. This role ensures safety, cleanliness, and smooth operations for guests, competitors, and staff during NASCAR, NHRA, and other events.

The Lead will supervise Track Services personnel, manage staffing schedules, coordinate setup/teardown, oversee equipment and facility maintenance, and support emergency operations and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in facility operations, venue operations, or related fields.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading site plans, maps, CAD drawings, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, develop, and evaluate Track Services personnel.
• Manage staffing schedules, assignments, and deployment of staff to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate event setup and teardown activities including barricades, fencing, signage, and equipment placement.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of assets, grounds, and event infrastructure.
• Operate and supervise heavy equipment and utility vehicles as required.
• Assist with event logistics, campground preparation, and venue readiness.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal departments on projects and event execution.
• Maintain inventory and readiness of tools, equipment, and supplies.
