Job summary

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is seeking an experienced Guest Services Security Manager to lead venue and event security operations across the property. This role manages LVMS security teams, vendors, access control, and emergency planning to ensure a safe environment during NASCAR, NHRA, and other major events.

Reporting to the VP of Events and Operations, you will coordinate with law enforcement, public safety agencies, and event partners, while developing/update plans, checklists, and coordination

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of management experience in venue security, event security, public safety, or related fields.
• Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience managing security personnel, staffing, vendors, or event teams.
• Experience developing Emergency Action Plans and command center procedures.
• Experience coordinating with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and public safety agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead LVMSBlue Shirt and Yellow Shirt Security teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Develop and maintain security staffing plans, post assignments, and deployment schedules for all events.
• Oversee credentials, access control, gate operations, and the venue surveillance system; manage vendor relationships.
• Coordinate security operations with LVMS leadership, law enforcement, fire and medical partners, and event stakeholders.
• Own Emergency Action Plans and lead tabletop exercises and training to improve procedures.
