Position Description

The candidate is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all visitors, employees, and properties related to horse racing at Presque Isle Downs. Responsibilities include controlling access to the Stable Gate area, providing physical security, enforcing track rules, issuing citations, managing parking permits, securing access to the Jockey Room, maintaining organization in the Winner's Circle and Paddock, limiting access through specific gates, performing patrols, preparing reports, writing incident reports, verifying identification, maintaining order among guests, and assisting with crowd control. Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements

Security experience is helpful but not required. Candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills, perform duties respectfully and politely, present a neat appearance, be able to read and write reports, sit or stand for prolonged periods, and obtain appropriate licensing.

Educational Requirements

High school diploma preferred but not required.
